I got started with SEO in 2002, it took me almost 2 years before I took it serious and got any true benefit from SEO. In 2004 I owned my first successful website (a free blog host, similar to Blogger). Using the SEO talent I learned for those 2 years I managed to take the site from nothing to something in 9 months. At that time I had the site receiving approx. 300,000 total visitors per month, 90,000 unique visitors per month, 950,000 page views per month, and 4.7M hits per month. It was doing very well, but I was unprepared for the unexpected boost in traffic. Being that my fist passion is technology (I’ve worked as a Systems Engineer and IT Administrator for years) I started off hosting my own web server and websites. I had my web server in my home (not cool) — however the hardware and software was good, it was brand new and top of the line, but the network was the problem. The area I lived in at the time was rural and susceptible to power outages during bad weather conditions. Since I also was just getting started and the traffic seemed to come overnight I wasn’t monetizing from this traffic. I didn’t understand affiliate marketing at this time so I could not take advantage of it. I made some money, between $10-$20 a day with Adsense, but not enough to give up my day job.
After months of going through frequent power outages, the unwillingness to transfer my domain to a third-party host, and the difficulties obtaining local datacenter co-hosting comparable to my in-house hosting expense — I was left with one other choice. Sell the website! I woke up one morning after a bad thunderstorm and my server was down in a bad state. The server power supply failed and left the server down. I worked ambitiously that day and got the server back online, but only to find that the software also had issues. After 48 hours of being down the server was finally rebuilt and all files restored. Everything was back to normal — but I knew I didn’t want this to be normal for me, so I decided to sell! I went to about 4-5 popular Internet marketing related forums and posted an ad for the sale of my website. Within minutes I had bids and within 3 hours the site was sold for a sizable amount! This was the start of a new beginning!
Today I’ve mastered hosting my own websites, I currently use GoDaddy Virtual Hosting & Dedicated Hosting — but there are hundreds out there. I've also mastered getting websites to the top, by streamlining my process. Lastly, I mastered the buying and selling of websites for profit. Not realizing it at that time, this was my niche! Selling Internet Properties, so from that point I’ve focused on buying and selling websites (flippin’ websites — if you will). I would buy a website cheap (or a domain name and build a site from scratch) — I would then fix it up and work on the site for months (sometimes more than a year) using my SEO formula then when it had high rankings and good (human) traffic I would put it on the market for sale — the sale usually took place about 18-24 months after the acquisition of the domain. I sell only white hat sites which have matured in the search engines and built an moderate but reputable trust relationship within the major search engines.
I CANNOT take all the credit for my success. I have a team of trusted professionals and consultants which I outsource task so I can successfully complete projects. Outsourcing task allows me to take on larger projects, meet tighter deadlines, and ensure better quality. I oversee and approve every aspect of any SEO campaign. I offer a suite of SEO services which translate into better search performance and higher rankings for your website. I take pride in what I do and treat every website as if its my own. I give your website the personal attention it deserves. SEO takes time, effort, and strategy. I offer you all three!
