Google’s search-based keyword tool
hasn’t lived up to its hype and seems others may be confused about it’s use. Google has added a HELP section on the sidebar of the tools homepage, including a help video.

This is an indication to me that most users are confused about its use and the concept of the tool. Google dives into an FAQ which answers questions about “how it works”.

Some of you are probably what the hec is Google search-based keyword tool. Well, its a tool that hit surface last year when Google announced the launch of its Search-Based Keyword Tool. Basically, it does a crawl of your web pages and give you keyword suggestions based off your website. I found that it works pretty well for niche based sites, but general communities are a bit difficult to give good keyword suggestions using those calculations.
