Robbery Suspect Released from Jail Due to a Facebook Alibi

Social media is bringing new methods to crime scene investigations. In a stunning story, Robert Bradford, an ex-suspect in a robbery case was released from jail because his Facebook status provided him an alibi during the time of the robbery.

Robert was updating his Facebook status during the time a robbery occurred 13 miles away. Without his Facebook profile Robert would still be in jail, because he was picked out of a lineup by the victim.

It’s amazing the waves social media is making on everyday society. If for anything else, updating social statuses can provide you with the alibi needed to keep you out of prison. LOL
